Iran’s top religious leader’s senior advisor, Ali Shamkhani, has shared a gripping story of survival after being trapped under rubble for three hours during an Israeli attack. This terrifying account clears up earlier reports that claimed he had been killed in the strike.

Two weeks ago, Tel Aviv announced that Ali Shamkhani, a senior military commander, had been killed in an Israeli operation. Those claims were later proven false. On Saturday, Shamkhani appeared publicly, dispelling all rumors about his death.

Shamkhani is a well-known figure in Iran. He has served as navy commander, defense minister, and currently acts as a senior advisor to Iran’s supreme religious leader. He survived the attack despite heavy damage to his home, which was completely destroyed.

In a rare interview with state television, Shamkhani described the moments after the attack with chilling detail. He said he was trapped beneath the debris for three hours, unable to move. During that time, he prayed while lying down, performing the Fajr prayer. At first, he thought the shaking was due to an earthquake. Later, he realized it was an attack after hearing sounds of cars and explosions.

“I woke up during prayer,” Shamkhani said. “A few moments later, the whole room collapsed. I was trapped under the rubble for three hours. I performed the prayer while lying down.”

The attack also targeted other senior Iranian officials, scientists, and political figures. Israeli forces reportedly aimed to eliminate key figures involved in Iran’s military and scientific sectors. Shamkhani’s survival is seen as a sign of fate or fortune.

After the attack, Shamkhani took part in the funeral of several military commanders and scientists killed during the strikes. His public appearance put to rest all false reports of his death or severe injuries.

Ali Shamkhani holds a high-ranking position as secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and advisor to the Supreme Leader. His military career includes serving as Iran’s navy chief and defense minister.

This dramatic account sheds light on the ongoing conflict’s human toll. Despite attempts to target top officials, Shamkhani’s survival highlights the resilience amid the violence.
