Two major Palestinian resistance groups have launched a series of well-planned and powerful attacks on Israeli forces across both southern and northern Gaza. The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades, worked together in these large-scale operations. Their goal was clear: to weaken Israeli control and create confusion among its forces.
The joint attacks were described as highly organized and took place at the same time in different locations. This sudden and widespread action caused chaos within Israeli ranks and led to serious damage. One of the key attacks happened in the eastern part of Khan Younis, a city in southern Gaza. In that area, Al-Qassam fighters targeted four Israeli engineering diggers. They used Al-Yassin 105 anti-armor rockets, hitting each machine directly. The rockets set the vehicles on fire, and witnesses heard the screams of injured Israeli soldiers shortly after the blasts.
Within minutes, two Israeli military helicopters arrived to carry out rescue operations. Al-Qassam fighters reported seeing several soldiers hurt or killed. On the previous day, fighters from the same group had already carried out another explosive attack in the same zone. They used powerful roadside bombs to strike an Israeli Merkava tank and a military bulldozer. Both vehicles were badly damaged in the blast.
While Al-Qassam was active in the south, the Al-Quds Brigades also launched attacks around the same time. Their fighters planted and detonated a large explosive device on Street Five in northern Khan Younis. It struck an Israeli military vehicle, causing a fire and severe destruction. According to the group, this attack was part of a larger strategy to wear down Israeli forces over time and to limit their operational ability.
Further north in the Gaza Strip, the Al-Quds Brigades carried out another wave of attacks in the Talat Al-Muntar region near Al-Shuja’iya. They claimed to have seized control of an Israeli surveillance drone operating in the area. After disabling the drone, they launched mortar shells at Israeli troops and military vehicles. A video released by the group showed mortar rounds hitting their targets with precision.
These strikes were part of a continuing artillery campaign aimed at weakening Israel’s military positions. The Al-Quds Brigades say they are focused on constant pressure and strategic planning to disrupt Israeli operations. Their goal is to challenge Israeli dominance despite lacking advanced technology.
Local Palestinian sources described the attack in Khan Younis as particularly intense. They said it created a sensitive and dangerous situation for Israeli forces. In response, Israeli warplanes began flying low over the area. Loud explosions were heard in the sky, as aircraft circled above and fired into the region.
So far, the Israeli military has not released any official statement about these events. However, local sources report that many soldiers were hurt or killed, and that Israel used helicopters and planes to evacuate them quickly.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad have repeated their message: they will continue to resist the Israeli invasion of Gaza until the last soldier and tank leave the territory. They say these attacks show their commitment to defending the land, even in the face of international silence and a growing humanitarian crisis.
Despite having fewer resources and limited military equipment, Gaza’s resistance fighters are showing the ability to use advanced tactics. Their joint attacks are creating new challenges for Israeli forces, who are now facing a coordinated and determined enemy.
Observers believe that the ongoing nature of these attacks could lead to a major shift in the Gaza conflict. If such operations continue, they might force Israel to reconsider its current strategy and timeline. The resistance groups are trying to turn the battlefield into a long-term struggle, where speed, planning, and teamwork can make a major difference.
The latest actions by Al-Qassam and Al-Quds reflect not just anger but also clear military strategy. By hitting multiple targets at once, using hidden explosives, guided rockets, and drone takeovers, they are proving that even in difficult conditions, they can launch effective and damaging operations.
While the world watches in silence, Gaza’s fighters continue to push back. Their message is strong: they will resist as long as the occupation continues.
