The MLB All-Star Snubs 2025 list is making more waves than the official roster announcement. When the names of this year’s All-Stars heading to Atlanta were revealed, fans quickly noticed some key players missing. As usual, the debate over who didn’t make the cut is louder than the excitement for those who did.

While fans pick the starters, league officials and players decide the reserves and pitchers. This process often leads to surprise omissions, even among top performers. Many fans are upset that several high-performing players from the season’s first half were not chosen. Although each MLB team is guaranteed at least one All-Star, some strong performers still got left out.

Carlos Narváez from the Red Sox is one of the most glaring snubs. He is among the league’s top four catchers in WAR and has surpassed expectations on offense. His solid defense makes his exclusion hard to explain, especially in a rocky season for Boston where he’s been a reliable standout.

Michael Busch Cubs of the Chicago Cubs also deserved a spot. Despite the strong competition at first base, Busch has a higher wRC+ than stars like Freddie Freeman and Pete Alonso. His performance has helped carry the Cubs’ offense, and his numbers prove he belongs in the game.

Jeff McNeil has bounced back for the Mets after missing the season’s start with an injury. At 33, he’s showing more power and better plate discipline than in recent years. He’s playing like a top-tier second baseman again, reminding fans of his All-Star form from earlier in his career.

Zach McKinstry has been key for the Tigers thanks to his versatility. While mainly at third base, he’s also filled in across the infield and outfield. He’s posted an above-average bat and strong defense, similar to Willi Castro’s All-Star-worthy season last year. McKinstry’s all-around value should have earned him a spot.

Trea Turner of the Phillies has quietly become one of the most reliable players in the National League. He leads in hits and has been sharp on defense. With a .301 average, 11 home runs, and 22 stolen bases, he’s back to being one of the best at his position.

Juan Soto of the Mets being left out has shocked many. With a .915 OPS and 21 home runs, Soto is still one of the most feared hitters in the game. Though he had a slow May, his recent form has been elite. Given his overall numbers, leaving him off the All-Star team feels like a mistake.

Randy Arozarena has made a huge impact for the Mariners in his first full season with the team. He’s been on fire recently, hitting six home runs in seven games. His energy, power, and presence on the field make him one of the most exciting players to watch. His All-Star snub is hard to justify.

Jo Adell of the Angels has had a breakthrough year. After struggling to find consistency early in his career, he’s now hitting with power and confidence. With 19 home runs and a strong OPS, Adell has become a major part of the Angels’ offense. Many fans believe he would have also been a great fit for the Home Run Derby.

George Springer of the Blue Jays has shown that his best years aren’t behind him. He’s helped lead Toronto to the top of the AL East with a .285 batting average, 16 home runs, and 10 stolen bases. His strong season deserved recognition, and his omission surprised many observers.

Although more players will likely be added to the roster due to injuries or schedule changes, the initial list has already sparked debate. The All-Star Game is meant to highlight the best of the best, but every year, some stars get left behind. For now, fans are voicing their frustration and standing up for those they feel were unfairly snubbed.
