Vladimir Guerrero Jr hit a two-run homer off Shohei Ohtani as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in Game 4 of the World Series. The win ties the series 2-2.

Guerrero’s seventh postseason homer set a new franchise record and gave Toronto the lead after the Dodgers scored first for the fourth straight game. The homer helped the Blue Jays bounce back quickly from their 18-inning loss in Game 3.

Shane Bieber made his first World Series start, allowing just one run into the sixth inning. He gave up four hits and struck out three in five and one-third innings. Rookie Mason Fluharty escaped a two-run jam, and Chris Bassitt and Louis Varland closed out the final three innings.

Toronto scored four runs in the seventh inning. Daulton Varsho singled, Ernie Clement doubled, and Andrés Giménez added an RBI single. Ty France drove in another run, and Bo Bichette and Addison Barger each delivered RBI singles to extend the lead to 6-1.

Ohtani pitched six-plus innings, giving up six hits and four runs with six strikeouts. At the plate, he went 0 for 3 with a walk. The Dodgers have scored only three runs in the last 20 innings, dating back to late in Game 3.

Kiké Hernández scored Max Muncy on a sacrifice fly in the second inning to give Los Angeles an early lead, but Toronto quickly responded.

Game 5 is Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, with Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell facing Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage. Game 6 will return to Toronto on Friday night.
