New research shows that Ozempic and similar medications could help men with obesity or Type 2 diabetes boost their testosterone levels. The findings come from SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital, where a team studied 110 men who were using GLP-1 receptor agonists, such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), dulaglutide (Trulicity), or tirzepatide (Zepbound). These men were around 54 years old and were not using testosterone replacement or other hormone therapy. Over an 18-month period, they lost about 10% of their body weight on average.
