A tense and sharp exchange took place at the United Nations Security Council on Sunday. The emergency meeting was called at Iran’s request. Representatives from Iran, Israel, and the United States traded strong accusations, each blaming the others for increasing global tensions around Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran’s ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, spoke first. He accused the United States of spreading lies. According to Iravani, the US is painting Iran’s peaceful nuclear program as a threat to the world. He said Iran is using nuclear technology for development, not for weapons. He also said that the US is misleading other nations to justify its political actions against Iran.

The Iranian envoy also said the US was misusing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). This international agreement was created to stop the spread of nuclear weapons. Iravani explained that the treaty allows countries to use nuclear energy for peaceful reasons, and that’s exactly what Iran is doing. He said the US is twisting this rule to target Iran unfairly and turn world opinion against it.

In response, the US ambassador denied all of Iran’s claims. The US representative said the country had tried to solve the issue through talks. The ambassador said that the US entered negotiations with good intentions. The goal was to find a peaceful solution and avoid conflict. But the US believes that Iran had other plans.

The US envoy said Iran used the talks as a trick. According to him, while discussions were going on, Iran secretly tried to move forward with making nuclear weapons. This, he warned, would not only break international rules but would also pose a serious threat to global peace.

The ambassador stressed that if Iran builds nuclear weapons, the whole world could be in danger. He said such weapons in Iran’s hands would upset the balance of power in the Middle East and beyond. This could spark more arms races and conflicts, putting millions of lives at risk.

Israel’s ambassador also joined the debate. He stood with the US and praised its recent actions against Iran. The Israeli representative repeated the claim that Iran used diplomatic talks as a cover. He said Iran made progress on its nuclear weapons program while pretending to work toward peace.

The Israeli ambassador accused Iran of abusing its role at the UN. He said Iran was using the platform to spread false stories and distract from its real goals. According to him, Iran’s main aim is to build nuclear weapons and become a bigger threat to its neighbors and the world.

He also accused Iran of secretly planning to turn its nuclear energy projects into weapons programs. Israel believes that the international community must act fast before Iran crosses a line that cannot be undone.

In response to these claims, Iran once again denied trying to make nuclear weapons. Its ambassador said that Iran had followed every rule in the NPT. He said the country had allowed inspections and had shared all necessary documents. He said Iran’s program was open and transparent, not secret or dangerous.

Iravani insisted that the real problem is political pressure from certain countries. He said the US and Israel are trying to isolate Iran on the world stage. Their aim, he said, is to stop Iran’s progress and power in the region. He claimed that this has nothing to do with safety or peace but is just politics.

Despite these serious differences, many nations in the Security Council urged calm. Some members said both sides must avoid making the situation worse. They asked all parties to return to talks and try to solve the issue through peaceful means.

However, the deep mistrust among the three nations was clear. The US and Israel say they can no longer believe Iran’s promises. Iran says it is the victim of lies and bullying. Each side accuses the other of breaking deals and causing conflict.

The meeting ended without any final resolution. But it showed how serious the problem has become. The clash between Iran, Israel, and the US at the UN highlights growing fear over the future of nuclear safety in the world.
