On Friday, West took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask Trump for help in securing Combs’ release. The rapper criticized Hollywood stars for staying silent about Diddy’s arrest. West accused them of letting Combs “rot” in jail instead of speaking up for him.
His post said, “Donald Trump, PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.” This comes after Combs’ arrest on charges like sex trafficking and racketeering, which shocked both the music world and the public.
A Message for Diddy’s Family
Kanye also shared a FaceTime video of him talking with Christian Combs, Diddy’s son. The emotional video had a caption highlighting the pain families feel when a loved one is in jail. Kanye urged people to listen carefully to comedian Dave Chappelle’s jokes about family separations, especially in Black families.

West didn’t stop with a plea for Diddy. He also reignited his feud with the liquor company Diageo, accusing the company and other corporate leaders of controlling the music industry. He singled out Jewish and white business leaders, repeating his past accusations of corporate manipulation and discrimination.
“WHAT Y’ALL GONNA DO? CANCEL MY SNEAKER DEAL? CANCEL MY RECORD DEAL? FREEZE MY ACCOUNTS?” he ranted, stirring more controversy.
