The Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the European Union (EU) will convene a Ministerial Partnership Dialogue on March 15, 2025, in Harare, Zimbabwe. The SADC-EU Political Dialogue dates back to 1994, when it was launched at a Ministerial Conference in Berlin, Germany. The framework for structured engagement was solidified in 2013 during a Ministerial Dialogue in Maputo, Mozambique, ensuring regular consultations through annual Senior Officials’ Meetings and biennial Ministerial Dialogues.
