The NFL delivered dramatic action in Week 4, including a rare 40-40 tie between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers, multiple standout performances, and shifting playoff outlooks.

In Sunday night’s Cowboys-Packers clash, Brandon Aubrey and Brandon McManus exchanged field goals in overtime after Dak Prescott and Jordan Love each threw three touchdown passes in regulation. The game featured seven consecutive lead-changing touchdowns before McManus tied the game with a 53-yard field goal as time expired. The second-highest scoring tie in NFL history marked Dallas’ first tie since 1969 and Green Bay’s first since 2018.

The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 behind Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 270 yards and four touchdowns. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson left with a hamstring injury, forcing Cooper Rush to finish the game. Xavier Worthy returned from injury to spark the Chiefs, helping them claim their seventh win in eight meetings against Baltimore.

Jaxson Dart made an impressive NFL starting debut, leading the New York Giants to an 21-18 victory over the previously undefeated Los Angeles Chargers. Dart threw a touchdown pass and ran for another, while the Giants’ defense, including Brian Burns’ late sack, played a crucial role. Wide receiver Malik Nabers suffered a knee injury during the game.

The Los Angeles Rams rallied past the Indianapolis Colts 27-20, highlighted by Matthew Stafford’s 88-yard touchdown pass to Tutu Atwell with 1:33 left. Stafford passed for 375 yards and three touchdowns, while Colts receiver Adonai Mitchell’s fumble prevented a potential 76-yard score.

Buffalo Bills remained undefeated with a 31-19 win over the New Orleans Saints. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns and ran for another, with James Cook rushing for 117 yards. The Bills have now started 4-0 for the first time since 2020, while the Saints remain winless at 0-4.

The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the San Francisco 49ers 26-21, with Parker Washington scoring Jacksonville’s first punt return touchdown in eight seasons. The Jaguars’ defense forced four takeaways, and Trevor Lawrence connected with Hunter Long for a crucial touchdown pass.

The Chicago Bears stunned the Las Vegas Raiders 25-24, with Josh Blackwell blocking a 54-yard field goal in the final minute. Caleb Williams led the Bears’ rally, and Chicago recorded four takeaways, including three interceptions of Geno Smith.

In Dublin, the Pittsburgh Steelers edged the Minnesota Vikings 24-21. Kenneth Gainwell ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns, while DK Metcalf scored an 80-yard touchdown for the Steelers. Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz threw for 350 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Other notable results included the Detroit Lions’ 34-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, the Philadelphia Eagles’ 31-25 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Houston Texans’ 26-0 shutout of the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons’ 34-27 win over the Washington Commanders, and the New England Patriots’ 42-13 rout of the Carolina Panthers.

Week 4 offered a mix of high-scoring thrillers, impressive rookie performances, and decisive wins that continue to shape the NFL playoff picture. Teams like the Bills, Eagles, and Chiefs maintain strong starts, while others like the Saints and Titans face mounting challenges early in the season.
