Israel is facing major losses in its ongoing conflict with Iran. These damages are not only military but also economic, infrastructure-related, and diplomatic. Based on recent reports, the country is now under serious pressure on many fronts. Here are the 10 most severe losses Israel has suffered so far.

Israel is spending a huge amount daily to maintain its military defense. The war is forcing the country to spend between $700 million and $900 million per day. Much of this cost comes from using advanced missile defense systems like David’s Sling and Arrow, with each missile costing $1 to $4 million. In just the first two days of the war, Israel spent nearly $1.45 billion. Experts believe this level of spending will put long-term stress on the country’s economy.

Iran has launched more than 400 missiles and drones during this war. To counter each one, Israel has used two interceptors per attack. This rapid use of defense weapons is quickly draining Israel’s missile stockpiles.

A major Iranian missile strike caused severe damage to the Soroka Medical Center in southern Israel. Over a hundred people were injured. The Israeli government has called this strike a war crime, but the damage is already done.

Iranian missiles have also hit Israel’s energy and power systems. These attacks have disrupted electricity supply and slowed down industrial production. Factories are facing power shortages, making it hard to continue normal business operations.

Trade and export activities at Israeli seaports have dropped sharply. Insurance costs for shipping have tripled. This has created delays in commercial transport, causing foreign investors to lose confidence and pull back from the market.

Israel’s oil reserves and major stock exchange have both suffered. The value of stocks has dropped, and the market is now unstable. Several businesses have had to close temporarily due to the losses.

The daily lives of Israeli civilians have been deeply affected. Thousands have had to leave their homes and move to shelters. Air raids and sirens have become part of daily life, especially in the south.

In response to the war, the Israeli government has doubled its defense budget. It is now spending about $33.6 billion. This may lead to cuts in other critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and social services, creating deeper problems in the long term.

Israel’s air defense has not been fully effective against the Iranian strikes. The failure has pushed Israel to depend more on the United States. Currently, it is using American systems like THAAD and Patriot to strengthen its air defense. This growing reliance could weaken Israel’s strategic independence.

Experts warn that if the war lasts for 30 days, Israel’s total loss may go beyond $12 billion. If the U.S. decides to cut back on its military aid, Israel could run low on weapons and supplies. This could change the outcome of the war.

Iran, on the other hand, claims it has not yet used its full military strength. If this claim is true, the coming days may bring even more serious challenges for Israel.

As the fighting continues, analysts believe that the longer the war goes on, the more damage Israel will face. The nation is already struggling with rising costs, damaged infrastructure, and a worried population. If the conflict does not end soon, Israel may face long-lasting consequences.
