Israel emerged as the world’s most conflict-prone country in 2025, according to the independent conflict monitoring group ACLID. The organization analyzed local and international reports and found that Israeli forces carried out at least 10,631 attacks in multiple countries between January and December 5, 2025.
Palestinians bore the brunt of these attacks, with Israeli forces striking Gaza and the West Bank nearly 8,332 times. The assaults have caused over 25,000 Palestinian deaths and injured more than 60,000 people.
ACLID reports that under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel launched an average of 29 attacks per day across various regions. Besides the Palestinian territories, Israeli forces also targeted Iran, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, and Yemen.
In Iran, Israel conducted military operations over a 12-day period, striking a total of 61 times. In Lebanon, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) carried out approximately 17 attacks despite an existing ceasefire with Hezbollah. Syria was not spared either, with over 212 strikes recorded in southern regions, including Damascus, Deraa, and Quneitra. The attacks reportedly targeted Iranian military activity in the country.
Yemen also experienced Israeli airstrikes at least 48 times. Minor attacks were reported in Tunisia twice, and at least once in Qatar, Malta, and Greece, highlighting the far-reaching impact of Israel’s military operations.
Analysts note that the unprecedented number of attacks in 2025 makes Israel the most aggressive country globally this year. ACLID’s report emphasizes the high intensity and frequency of Israeli military actions, particularly in densely populated and conflict-sensitive regions like Gaza and the West Bank.
The report suggests that the ongoing conflict under Netanyahu’s leadership has severely disrupted regional stability. Palestinians remain the most affected, with thousands of families displaced, infrastructure destroyed, and daily life heavily impacted.
