Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel will not stop its attacks on Gaza, even if Hamas frees more hostages. His statement comes as Israel continues its intense military operation in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza, already under blockade, is facing daily air and ground strikes. Israeli military attacks have grown stronger, and the number of deaths keeps rising. People in Gaza say no place is safe anymore. Food and aid supplies are also blocked. Many call Gaza a living hell.

On Tuesday night, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported Netanyahu’s remarks. He said the war in Gaza will not end soon. He added that Israel may consider a short-term pause in fighting, but not a full ceasefire.

Speaking to injured Israeli soldiers, Netanyahu said, “We will destroy Hamas and rescue all our hostages at the same time. Even if Hamas says it will release 10 more hostages, we will not stop the war.”

According to the Times of Israel, Netanyahu also told his coalition partners that Israel will only agree to a short break in fighting. That will happen only if Hamas lays down its weapons and releases some hostages.

He further warned that Israeli forces will launch a full-scale ground operation in Gaza in the coming days. “Our troops are ready and already in place,” he said.

Earlier, on Monday, Netanyahu’s office confirmed that Israel had sent negotiators to Qatar. Their goal is to talk about a possible pause in the fighting and a hostage exchange. These talks are expected to continue in Doha until Thursday. They are taking place during a visit by U.S. officials to the region.

As part of the negotiation effort, Hamas released an Israeli-American hostage named Edan Alexander. Hamas said the release was made after contact with Washington. The group added that this was part of the ongoing efforts to reach a temporary truce.

Still, despite this move, Netanyahu made it clear that his government has no plans to stop military actions. Right after his comments, more airstrikes hit Gaza.

On Wednesday, Al Jazeera reported that at least 81 Palestinians had been killed in the latest attacks. Of these, 51 died in the northern part of Gaza after midnight. Another 30 people were killed when a hospital in the south was bombed.

Reports say the hospital strike came just hours before the attack in the north. This raised new concerns about the safety of medical centers in Gaza.

According to Gaza’s health ministry, more than 52,989 Palestinians have died since the war began in October 2023. Over 119,721 people have been injured. These numbers continue to rise each day as the strikes go on.

Many human rights groups have called for an end to the violence. They say the people of Gaza are facing mass suffering and death. Aid groups also say the health system is collapsing. Many hospitals no longer have medicine or power.

Still, Netanyahu and other top Israeli leaders believe that Hamas must be defeated completely. They say peace cannot come unless Hamas is removed from power.

In the meantime, people in Gaza remain trapped. They wait for food, medicine, and safety. But with new attacks happening every day, hope is running out.

The world watches as the war continues. Peace seems far away, and the suffering goes on.
