Tensions between India and Pakistan have remained high despite a ceasefire agreement. In the past few days, clashes have occurred again. During this time, Turkey openly supported Pakistan. This has led to demands in India to take action against Turkey.

A group called Swadeshi Jagaran Manch has asked the Indian government to put economic sanctions on Turkey. The group has also requested that Indian tourists avoid visiting Turkey. They want Indian people to stop buying Turkish products as a form of protest.

Turkey is the only country that openly stood with Pakistan during the recent four-day conflict. Reports say that many of the drones used to attack Indian military bases came from Turkey. Because of this, the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch wants to stop all flights to and from Turkey. They are also asking the government to block trade with the country.

Ashwini Mahajan, the leader of the group, said that Turkey is the second biggest supplier of weapons to Pakistan, after China. He said that these weapons have helped Pakistan’s navy and air force get ready for war.

According to the group, the defense ties between Turkey and Pakistan are not just for business. They believe the goal is to upset peace in South Asia and make Pakistan’s military stronger. The group says this kind of support should not be taken lightly.

Tourism numbers show that around 200,000 Indians visit Turkey each year. Now, the group wants Indian travelers to stop going there. They have made a public appeal asking citizens to boycott tourism in Turkey.

Some experts say that India sells more goods to Turkey than it buys. So, if India imposes economic sanctions, Indian businesses might suffer more than Turkish ones. Despite this, some business owners in India have already taken steps to stop trade with Turkey.

In Rajasthan, marble suppliers have stopped importing Turkish marble. Apple traders in Pune have also halted orders from Turkey. Travel agencies are canceling trips to the country. Some film workers from western India are refusing to shoot movies in Turkey.

The calls for action show how serious the situation has become. People feel upset that Turkey supported Pakistan during the conflict. The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch believes strong action is needed to send a message.

They say that if Turkey wants to take sides in a conflict, it must face the consequences. They also want the Indian government to take the lead in defending national interests.

This is not the first time India has responded strongly to actions by foreign countries. In the past, India has taken similar steps against China. The current demands show that Indian citizens and groups are ready to act when they feel the country is being targeted.

Right now, the government has not made any official decision. But the pressure is growing. More people are joining the call to boycott Turkish goods and cancel travel plans.

Some say that careful steps are needed. While strong action may send a message, it could also hurt Indian businesses. A balanced approach might help protect both national pride and economic interests.

For now, all eyes are on the Indian government. People want to see how it reacts to Turkey’s open support for Pakistan. Will there be sanctions? Will flights be stopped? The coming days may bring more clarity.

Until then, groups like the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch continue to raise their voices. They want India to take a stand. They believe Turkey should be punished for taking Pakistan’s side.
