Dancing With the Stars Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on Tuesday delivered high-energy performances, standout individual dances, and one shocking elimination. The episode celebrated the music legends of rock while bringing back group numbers and putting the remaining eight celebrities through intense competition.
At the end of the night, Danielle Fishel and her professional partner Pasha Pashkov were eliminated, leaving just seven couples in the running for the season 34 crown. The elimination came after judges’ scores and viewer votes were combined, determining the couple with the lowest total for the week.
This week’s episode also reintroduced group dances, splitting the cast into halves to perform alongside co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro. Each group showcased synchronized choreography and rock-inspired flair, setting the tone for the night and highlighting the athleticism and showmanship of the contestants.
Ribeiro announced an added incentive at the start of the show: the couple finishing at the top of the leaderboard would earn immunity from next week’s relay dances and receive bonus points for the following episode, which celebrates the show’s 20th birthday. These points could prove crucial as the competition heads toward its final episodes.
Whitney Leavitt, star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and social media personality Alix Earle tied for the highest individual score of the evening with 39 out of 40. The tie was broken using cumulative season scores, granting immunity to Leavitt for having the top total across all performances so far.
Other remaining contestants include Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron, winner of The Traitors season three and Zac Efron’s brother, actress Elaine Hendrix, conservationist Robert Irwin, and comedian-actor Andy Richter. Each has demonstrated growth and creativity on the dance floor, and viewers can expect intense competition as the season approaches its finale.
Hendrix returned to live performance after missing last week’s Halloween Night due to an injury. Her Viennese waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love” scored 32 out of 40, based on rehearsal footage reviewed by judges. Hendrix updated fans on her recovery, noting she feels “very solid and strong and grateful,” and confirmed she would continue participating in both individual and group dances.
Despite high scores, no individual couple has yet earned a perfect 40/40 in season 34. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night did witness the first perfect score awarded to Team Chicago during group performances, showcasing precise coordination and enthusiasm.
Individual scores for the night highlighted competitive excellence, with Earle and Leavitt both near perfection at 39/40, closely followed by Chiles and Irwin, who each scored 38/40. The judges’ panel included Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge Flavor Flav, who added insight and star power to the scoring.
This season has seen memorable themed nights, including last week’s Halloween Night, where couples performed spooky routines and competed in a dance marathon. That episode saw the elimination of Jen Affleck and her partner Jan Ravnik.
Dancing With the Stars Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night demonstrated both the physical skill and entertainment value that keep audiences engaged, with performances combining technical precision and creative interpretation of classic rock hits. Live voting, conducted during the East Coast airing, allowed viewers to influence the competition alongside the judges’ scores, making each episode a critical test for the remaining celebrities.
With only three episodes left in season 34, including the special three-hour finale on November 25, the remaining couples must continue pushing their limits to secure a place in the finale and possibly claim the Mirrorball Trophy.
