Paris Hilton has responded to an old claim that Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein, once considered her as a romantic prospect for Epstein.
“I don’t even remember ever meeting her,” Hilton told The Sunday Times Magazine in an interview published Saturday. “I’m such a good clickbait name.”
The allegation first surfaced in 2020. It came after the release of Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, a Lifetime docuseries that included testimony from survivors and friends of Epstein and Maxwell.
Composer Christopher Mason, appearing in the series, recalled a New York City party where Maxwell allegedly searched for young girls to meet Epstein. Mason said Maxwell reportedly spotted Hilton and said, “God, she’d be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce us?”
Hilton has not publicly addressed this claim before. Images exist of Hilton with both Maxwell and Donald Trump at the Anand Jon Fashion Show in New York City in 2000.
Donald Trump, who had a known friendship with Epstein, has faced renewed scrutiny as new emails were released by House Democrats, including references suggesting Epstein informed Trump about his activities. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.
The story continues to attract media attention and has been mocked on late-night television. Recently, Saturday Night Live aired a sketch depicting Trump defending himself after Epstein-related emails were released.
Hilton emphasized her detachment from the situation, framing the allegations as sensationalized media attention rather than reality.
