Israel has sent a message to Iran requesting a ceasefire. The request came after Iran’s missile strikes caused serious damage in Israel. According to reports, the Israeli city of Tel Aviv now looks similar to Gaza after heavy attacks. Many Israeli citizens are hiding in bunkers due to fear of more strikes.
Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system has failed to stop many of Iran’s missiles. This has made the situation worse. Even with support from former U.S. President Donald Trump, Israel could not stop Iran’s attacks. Facing this crisis, Israel’s Prime Minister sent a proposal to Iran’s Supreme Leader to end the war.
But the proposal was quickly rejected. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave a firm response. He warned Israel and said Iran would not stop the war until it gives a full answer to attacks on its nuclear sites.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has openly expressed support for Iran. Soon after his statement, missile attacks hit a U.S. base in the Middle East. This has raised new questions. Is Iran planning to act with Russia against both Israel and the United States?
A report by a major U.S. news outlet said the situation grew worse after Israel, with U.S. help, attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities. This caused heavy damage and led Iran to strike back with force.
The report also said Israel wants the conflict to end quickly. The country is now using Arab nations to pass messages to Tehran. Arab and Israeli officials told the media that Israel is open to a peaceful end to the fighting. But any decision now depends on Iran.
Meanwhile, an Israeli TV channel reported that the Israeli military has launched an operation named “Rising Lion.” The goal is to remove the threats from Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. Israeli leaders believe their mission is close to success.
Arab officials say Israel is ready to stop the military action if Iran also agrees. However, Tehran is not willing to halt the war yet. Iran’s leaders say they must respond fully to the U.S. attacks before ending the conflict.
An Israeli official told a local newspaper that Israel is satisfied with the current outcome. But this depends on two conditions: Iran must stop its nuclear program, and both countries must agree to a peace deal.
The TV channel’s report said there are two possible ways to end the operation. First, Israel can announce it has reached its goals and that Iran is no longer attacking. Second, both sides can agree to a ceasefire and let the U.S. make a formal statement to confirm it.
Still, the biggest problem remains Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. He continues to stand by Iran’s resistance policy. Because of this, the proposal from Israel’s Prime Minister has not led to any real progress.
As the war continues, the world is watching closely. The risk of a wider regional conflict is growing. The support of Russia for Iran, and the presence of U.S. forces in the region, adds more tension. The coming days will be key in deciding if peace can be reached, or if more fighting is ahead.
