Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has condemned Israel’s recent attack on Iran, calling it a criminal act that breaks international law and threatens peace in the region. He said the military action was unjustified and goes against the United Nations Charter. His remarks came after reports confirmed that Israeli airstrikes had hit Iranian territory, raising fears of more violence in the Middle East.

Maduro described the Israeli government’s actions as aggressive and harmful. He also used strong language to describe the ideological force behind the attack, referring to it as neo-Nazi Zionism. He said such behavior must be stopped to avoid a wider conflict that could affect many countries.

In addition to criticizing Israel, Maduro blamed several Western nations for supporting the strikes. He said the United States, Britain, Germany, and France were helping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he compared to a modern-day Hitler. He accused these countries of standing against what he called the peaceful Iranian people and fueling conflict instead of working for peace.

The Venezuelan president’s comments are part of a broader foreign policy stance. Maduro has long opposed U.S. and European influence in global politics. Venezuela often sides with nations like Iran and Russia, forming alliances that challenge Western dominance. This latest statement continues that trend, showing Venezuela’s support for Iran in the face of international tensions.

The situation between Israel and Iran has been tense for years. Both countries have taken part in indirect attacks through proxy groups, especially in Syria and Lebanon. However, this most recent strike marks a more direct escalation. Israel claims it is protecting itself from possible Iranian threats, while Iran says the attacks are illegal and unjustified.

The international community has responded with mixed messages. Some countries have called for calm and dialogue, while others have defended Israel’s right to protect its borders. The United Nations urged both sides to avoid further violence. Meanwhile, human rights groups have warned about the danger of harming civilians and urged leaders to find peaceful solutions.

Venezuela’s growing ties with Iran have become more visible in recent years. The two countries have signed trade agreements and exchanged resources, including oil and medicine. These deals have helped Venezuela face U.S. sanctions and have deepened their political bond. Maduro uses these partnerships to push back against what he sees as unfair treatment from the West.

His government has also increased its support for Palestinian causes and regularly speaks out against Israeli actions in Gaza and other occupied territories. By aligning with Iran, Maduro hopes to strengthen Venezuela’s role in global affairs and present it as a defender of oppressed nations.

In his latest speech, Maduro called on world leaders to reject war and support peace. He said countries must respect each other’s sovereignty and work through dialogue instead of violence. He also urged the United Nations to act more strongly to prevent illegal military actions and promote fairness around the world.

The Venezuelan president’s remarks come at a time when tensions in the Middle East are high, and many fear a larger conflict may be on the horizon. His statements reflect not only his views on Israel and Iran but also his wider criticism of global power structures.
