In Hoshiarpur district, a series of explosions were heard near Dasuya. The district’s Deputy Commissioner, Ashika, confirmed that several explosions were reported, and local authorities had coordinated with the Indian military. They confirmed that operations were underway to detect and neutralize the drones. As a result, blackout measures were imposed in Dasuya and Mukeria areas.
The local administration urged the public not to fall for rumors and advised them to rely on official sources for information. This incident added a new layer of tension to the already volatile situation between India and Pakistan. It also prompted heightened security measures across India.
The sequence of events unfolded just hours after Modi’s speech, where he issued a stark warning to Pakistan, emphasizing that India would not engage in talks or trade with a nation that supports terrorism.
