Dublin, Ireland – Air Canada has announced an increase in flight services from Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal, taking advantage of the temporary lifting of Dublin Airport’s passenger cap this summer. Increased Flight Frequency for Peak Season
As the summer travel season begins, Air Canada will boost its Dublin-Vancouver service from three to five flights per week during peak periods. The airline, which remains the sole operator on this route, has also extended the route’s operating season to accommodate rising demand.
Similarly, Air Canada’s seasonal Dublin-Montreal service, launching on June 2, 2025, will increase from three to four weekly flights. In addition, the airline’s year-round Dublin-Toronto service will move from four flights per week to a daily schedule.

Dublin Airport’s passenger capacity has been restricted to 32 million annually since 2007, following concerns about infrastructure limitations. However, significant upgrades in recent years have led to legal challenges from airlines, including Ryanair and Aer Lingus. In late 2024, a temporary easing of these restrictions was granted, allowing for increased airline operations while a permanent resolution is determined.
