Bianca Belair has emerged as one of WWE’s most dynamic and influential female superstars. Known as the “EST of WWE,” she prides herself on being the strongest, fastest, and toughest competitor in the ring. Her athleticism, charisma, and drive have made her a standout figure in modern professional wrestling.

Born Bianca Nicole Blair on April 9, 1989, in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was a natural athlete from a young age. Before stepping into the squared circle, Belair competed in track and field, specializing in hurdles and sprints. She also built a name for herself in the world of CrossFit and powerlifting. Her impressive physical strength and agility gave her the foundation to transition successfully into WWE.

Bianca Belair joined WWE in 2016 after impressing coaches at a tryout. She began her wrestling journey in the NXT brand, training at the WWE Performance Center. Although she never captured the NXT Women’s Championship, she gained attention through standout performances and her unique use of her long braid, which she wielded as a weapon in matches.

Her move to WWE’s main roster came in 2020, where she quickly became a fan favorite. Belair made history in 2021 by winning the Women’s Royal Rumble, becoming the second African-American wrestler after The Rock to achieve that milestone. That victory earned her a title shot at WrestleMania 37, where she faced Sasha Banks in the main event of Night 1. Their match marked the first time two Black women headlined WrestleMania, a groundbreaking moment in WWE history. Belair won the SmackDown Women’s Championship that night and solidified her position as a top-tier competitor.

At WrestleMania 38, Bianca Belair added another major title to her resume by defeating Becky Lynch to capture the Raw Women’s Championship. Her reign lasted an impressive 420 days, one of the longest in recent WWE history. She eventually lost the title at Night of Champions 2023 to Asuka in a triple-threat match also involving Charlotte Flair. In late 2023, Belair briefly held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Charlotte Flair.

Beyond the titles and accolades, what sets Bianca Belair apart is her connection with the audience and her ability to inspire. Her EST persona isn’t just a catchphrase—it represents her real-life journey of pushing boundaries and striving for excellence. Whether performing high-impact moves in the ring or delivering energetic promos, she brings authenticity and excitement to everything she does.

Outside of wrestling, Belair is married to fellow WWE superstar Montez Ford, a member of the popular tag team The Street Profits. She is a stepmother to Ford’s two children and often shares her love for family and fitness with fans. Belair is also an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness and body positivity, using her platform to uplift others and promote confidence.

Bianca Belair has received numerous honors throughout her WWE career. She was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Woman of the Year in 2021 and was ranked #1 on the PWI Top 150 Female Wrestlers list the same year. She was also recognized as Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Rookie of the Year in 2017, reflecting her rapid rise and impact.

In 2025, Belair returned from a short break to rejoin WWE storylines and major events. Most recently, she announced her role as the special guest referee for the no-holds-barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at WWE Evolution. This high-profile involvement shows WWE’s continued trust in her star power.

Bianca Belair’s legacy is still unfolding, but she has already achieved what many only dream of. Her journey from track athlete to WrestleMania main eventer showcases the power of perseverance and talent. As WWE builds toward future events like SummerSlam and beyond, Bianca Belair remains a central figure in the promotion’s evolving women’s division.
