Iran’s Supreme Leader rarely appears in public, but when he does, it is often for major announcements. Recently, he surprised the world by revealing a new super drone, unlike anything seen before.

This drone is far more advanced than Iran’s previous models, including kamikaze drones used by countries like Russia and North Korea. It can fly at speeds up to 800 kilometers per hour and carry missiles weighing up to 150 kilograms. Its most striking feature is its ability to mislead enemy radar. The drone can appear to fly in one direction while actually moving in another.

Iranian scientists developed this drone using experience from earlier captured models. The project comes after several failed attempts, including hundreds of drones sent over Israel four months ago. Most of those drones were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile system.

This new drone, however, was built in one of Iran’s most secret underground military factories, located 200 meters below the ground. Unlike ordinary factories, this facility blocks satellite signals and has no network connectivity. This makes it impossible for foreign intelligence agencies to track its activities. For years, Iran has conducted missile and drone projects in such hidden bunkers.

Israeli airspace authorities recently reported observing an unknown drone that bypassed radar signals, leaving them unable to track it. Experts believe this drone is similar to Iran’s latest model. It can monitor all communications within a three-kilometer radius, identifying active devices, phone calls, and other signals. Iran claims it can even jam missile systems, rendering intercept attempts useless. This has caused significant concern for Israel.

Experts suggest the technology in this drone is highly sophisticated and carefully engineered. Reports indicate that Iran’s rocket system closely resembles Russian missile technology. Israel has claimed that Iran may have secretly received technical support from Russia, despite international sanctions. Satellite images reportedly support this claim, although both Iran and Russia officially deny any cooperation.

The drone’s most remarkable feature is its long range, estimated at 4,000 kilometers. This allows it to reach not only the Middle East but also parts of Europe. Combined with fake location systems, signal analysis, jamming capabilities, and high speed, this drone is extremely difficult to counter. Iran asserts that even Israel’s Iron Dome defense system cannot stop it. If the drone enters Israeli airspace near ports, it could evade detection entirely.

The arrival of this drone signals a new level of military competition in the region. Neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, are reassessing their defense strategies. A drone capable of misleading advanced radar systems poses a major challenge for any adversary.

Iran’s efforts to enhance its military technology despite previous sanctions demonstrate its growing strength. This latest drone not only showcases Iran’s technological advancement but also shifts strategic calculations across the Middle East. Its introduction marks a turning point in regional defense planning and highlights Iran’s rising influence in military aviation.
