Two major Palestinian resistance groups have launched a series of well-planned and powerful attacks on Israeli forces across both southern and northern Gaza. The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades, worked together in these large-scale operations. Their goal was clear: to weaken Israeli control and create confusion among its forces.

They claimed to have seized control of an Israeli surveillance drone operating in the area. After disabling the drone, they launched mortar shells at Israeli troops and military vehicles. A video released by the group showed mortar rounds hitting their targets with precision.
These strikes were part of a continuing artillery campaign aimed at weakening Israel’s military positions. The Al-Quds Brigades say they are focused on constant pressure and strategic planning to disrupt Israeli operations. Their goal is to challenge Israeli dominance despite lacking advanced technology.
Local Palestinian sources described the attack in Khan Younis as particularly intense. They said it created a sensitive and dangerous situation for Israeli forces. In response, Israeli warplanes began flying low over the area. Loud explosions were heard in the sky, as aircraft circled above and fired into the region.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have repeated their message: they will continue to resist the Israeli invasion of Gaza until the last soldier and tank leave the territory.
